Taking care for your furniture

Furniture can be a big investment and therefore it is very advisable to take care for your furniture. If you take care for you furniture it will last longer and will look nicer. In this post I will suggest you some small but not unimportant things about furniture maintenance.
  • Clean off the spills right away from your furniture
  • Do not place your leather furniture in the direct sunlight. It destroys the basic structure and fades the color tones of your furniture
  • When your are creative and do some painting or gluing on the tables, make sure you protect everything that may suffer your creative work (also the floor). Even thought if the color could have been removed directly, you need to scrub to remove it. And that usually leads to little damage of the varnish.
  •  Do not place tea or coffee directly to the table, for the same reason as the one mentioned above
  • Never try to drag heavy furniture directly! You will make the scratches on the floor and the furniture for sure!
  • Do not leave shoes on the wooden furniture directly, let's buy instead a plastic plates to leave the shoes on it.
  • Use only soft and cotton patches for cleaning. No abrasive or hard chemicals are needed!
Hope that you find these tips useful and will save your furniture nice and usable.
